Denmark Hands Over Vehicles and Equipment to EASF in Nairobi as Part of Exit Strategy

The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) today received two vehicles and a range of Rapid Deployment Kits from the Embassy of Denmark during a handover ceremony held at the EASF Secretariat in Nairobi. The transfer forms part of the Embassy of Denmark’s Midterm Exit Strategy under its ongoing partnership with the EASF, as preparations continue for the conclusion of Denmark’s support in December 2026.

Representing the Embassy of Denmark, Kenneth Albert, Civilian Advisor and IACS Coordinator, officially handed over the vehicles and equipment to the EASF.

Speaking during the ceremony, the EASF Director expressed appreciation to the Government of Denmark for its longstanding partnership and continued cooperation, noting that the transferred assets will support the organization’s operational capacity.
