Collaborative Meeting on Early Warning Systems Held in Comoros
Moroni, Comoros — A significant collaborative meeting focused on early warning systems was held in Moroni from August 28 to 30, 2024. The event brought together a delegation from the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF), led by Brigadier General Domitlen Kabisa, head of the Peace Operations Department, and representatives from various Comorian Agencies involved in early warning initiatives.
Ongoing Training Course for Military Officers at Rwanda Peace Academy
Musanze, Rwanda – The Force Headquarters Staff Officers Training of Trainers (FHQ SO ToT) Course commenced on August 26, 2024, at the Rwanda Peace Academy (RPA) and will run until September 6. Funded by the African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA), the course is a collaborative effort between RPA and the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF).

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The Integrated Mission Administration Course, which began on August 19, 2024, is currently underway in EASF Force headquarters, Addis Ababa, and will conclude on August 30, 2024.
