President Museveni Receives EASF Director at State House, Entebbe

ENTEBBE, Uganda, 13 August 2026- President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni received the Director of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF), Brig. Gen. Ronald Rwivanga, at State House, Entebbe, on 13 August 2026.

The meeting took place on the margins of the 36th EASF Ordinary Policy Organs Meetings being held in Kampala.

Brig. Gen. Rwivanga briefed the President on EASF activities and ongoing efforts to strengthen the region’s peace and security architecture.

The engagement underscored the importance of continued regional cooperation and collective efforts to promote peace and security across Eastern Africa.
