United Nations Military Experts on Missions Course Concludes

A two week United Nations Military Experts on Missions Course which started on 8th April 2019 came to a successful conclusion on 18th April 2019 at the Ethiopia Peace Keeping Training Center in Addis Ababa Ethiopia.

During the closing ceremony, the EASF Director Dr. Abdillahi Omar Bouh thanked the Government and the people of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia for hosting the training. He also extended his gratitude to EASF Member States for availing officers to attend the course. Dr. Bouh underscored the importance of capacity building in maintaining the critical numbers required should EASF be mandated to deploy anywhere on the African continent and beyoond by the African Union at any given.

The Director expressed his appreciation to the Director of Ethiopia Peace Keeping Training Center Brig. Gen. Habtamu Tilahun and all his staff for the continuous support in the development of EASF.

The United Nations Military Experts on Missions Course was fully sponsored by the African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA).
